There will always be naysayers but I will not be one after this ownership experience.

My trial of buying another Big Three car has worked out very well. Chances are good I will buy another Cadillac, most likely it will be the SRX successor. The paint has held up much better than the paint on my Toyotas. These are my personal pet peeves but overall I could say I am very glad I bought this. It has been an enjoyable ownership experience so far. I am happy that Cadillac has achieved quality parity with imports in the class. The blind spot monitoring, cross traffic alert and lane departure warnings are great. The car is otherwise, working well and I have no regrets at buying it.

I mentioned it to the dealer we told me the manual was incorrect and he showed me how to reset the seat. I followed the instructions in the owners manual to no avail. This design issue was corrected in the new model.įor some reason my memory seat quit working. Over time I have found the cup holders to be awkward. The rain sensing wipers have a mind of their own, coming on for no apparent reason on bright sunny days. The rest of the CUE system works fine most of the time. This system falls well short of what this car deserves. It cannot find well established roads, the time calculations are wildly out of whack and the routes can be interesting. I am getting used to it but I am not sure I would get another one. I an still not crazy about the button-less, knob-less dash design. I do love driving the car and the space is perfect for my requirements. I noticed yesterday that I do not have a single paint chip on the front! I can not say that about the Toyotas I have owned. I have 12k miles on it and it rides great and looks great.
MGas mileage is as anticipated, in other words not great. I have had one minor issue and it was quickly resolved. I just hope my faith is rewarded with a quality car. The 4 yr warranty and maintenance paid program was a big factor in my decision. I was able to get a good price esp with a $1500 rebate from Cadillac. I was happy to give GM a chance once more. In the ensuing years GM and … Cadillac were never in my thoughts when it came to new cars. As a kid I always thought Cadillac was a great car. I was impressed with most everything in the car. I was taken with the look of the SRX and decided to give it a test drive. I have been looking for a SUV to replace my 2011 Avalon. I would HIGHLY recommend Triumph Auto Sales.My last purchase of a "Big Three" car was in 1985. I will leave a follow up review on SERVICE after the SALE, but if SERVICE is anything like the actual buying process, I don't see ANY problems. My DREAM car was on this lot the whole time! I got EXACTLY the type vehicle I wanted, A BETTER MAKE, with ALL the options, and because they made me such a great DEAL on the price, I was able to add Gap & a Warranty for peace of mind. You don't know ME, and I didn't know THEM either, but I have shopped everywhere, and have gone down MANY rabbit holes online & locally, for almost a year in search of THE PERFECT car. If you see something you like, I KNOW they will help you & give you an honest & fair deal. These people don't follow you around on the lot & try to high pressure you into buying something. Dean went above and beyond the call to help me. Dean was ALWAYS spot on! He treated me with RESPECT. Its not that I didnt trust them, i just didnt know them.
When he would say, "You don't want this car"., or "this one is just ok", My brother, was also looking out for me too, and he would call & tell me about the report on each car. Dean was extremely patient with me & all my requests, and bless his heart he searched everywhere for weeks for the car I had requested, & we FOUND many, but he was very honest with me on each one we found. The car I bought was crossed off of my list early in my search, because I was CERTAIN that I could NOT afford it. In the end I found a beautiful car that I had no idea I could afford. Dean ,my salesman ,searched everywhere for the car I THOUGHT I wanted, and we came very close. Karl ( the owner of Triumph Auto ) made certain that I was taken care of from the beginning to the end of the buying process. Everyone ALWAYS has "A GUY", lol, but in this case it worked out extremely well for me! A friend told me about a gentleman he goes to church with that he TRUSTED. I am SURE some MEN do too! Swindlers usually don't care what gender you are. Unfortunately, SOME women get taken advantage of, because of their lack of knowledge concerning "CAR or GUY stuff". I lived through a LEMON that was a total money magnet! I have been burnt MANY times by MANY places since my husband passed. I had been ripped off years ago at the bigger Infinity Dealership too. I was very scared to buy a car from a smaller independent dealership.
